A while back, I bought a Lensbaby lens in hopes of doing something like this- tilt-shift without the need to buy something far more expensive. Either I don have the skills or patience required, or the setup doesn't do that specifically... I gave up, and am selling that lens. Anyhow- seeing your results acheived through selective motion-blurring is cool. Shows that yes, you don particularly *need* expensive equipment to produce a good result! Great work on this series...

Thank you!

Yeah for me a TS-Lense would be too expensive just for the "funny" effect.

Atm I'm saving for a fisheye - also sometimes more of an artistic gadget - but far more versatile than a TSL.

I for one love this idea of TSL, but they are way to expensive for what you can use them for. To coment specificly on this picture, I really like how you acheived that effect through digital editing :) The subject and the simplicity are great!

I fell in love with my fisheye when I first got it. Ended up walking around with it, not even carrying any other lenses. This summer however it just fell into disuse... I'm about to unload it hopefully. It is a great addition to have though!

Thanks.

Good to know that you can achieve this effect with simple editing (and without spending additional money ;) )
